Terms & Conditions
All tickets purchased for events at Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua (LSBTC) are subject to the following terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these policies and health guidelines could result in the loss of ticket privileges, including removal from the premises.
Big Top is an outdoor venue and our performances occur rain or shine. No refunds or exchanges. Ticket prices include tax and fees that help to support our non-profit organization. Patrons who purchase a general admission ticket are not guaranteed entry to the tent, even in cases of severe weather. Please dress appropriately. Large canopies or umbrellas that will block the view of other patrons on our lawn are prohibited. Whereas there is a good view from most places on our lawn, that's not true for ALL places on our lawn. Please arrive early to get a good spot.
Anything brought onto our campus is subject to search upon entry or re-entry. Anything harmful or unsafe is prohibited. In rare cases, it's possible we may use a metal detector to scan patrons. Patrons with medical concerns may request a pat-down in place of electronic scanning. Pets are not allowed on the campus (except for professionally trained service dogs). If you must bring your well-behaved pet with you to an event, our volunteer parking assistants will direct you to a shaded parking lot. Pets cannot be tied outside of their vehicle. It is up to you to decide if staying in the car is safe for your pet, however it is not recommended.
Programs/artists/prices are subject to cancellation or change without notice. No refunds or exchanges are allowed. Ticket costs include tax and fees. Fees are not refundable under any circumstances.
Use of a ticket to enter our campus serves as consent for Big Top Chautauqua to capture and use your photo, image and or voice in promotional materials for LSBTC.
If you arrive late, please wait to be seated until directed by a House Manager or usher. Seating will occur between songs to keep disruption to a minimum. Everyone must have a ticket. Children 3 and under who will sit on a parent's lap, or on the lawn will not require a separate ticket. Parental supervision is required.
Food and beverage service is provided by Mt. Ashwabay to help support their outdoor educational programs. Mt. Ashwabay strictly adheres to local and state laws regarding alcohol consumption. You must be at least 21 to purchase alcohol on our campus. Patrons will be carded, and Mt Ashwabay can refuse the sale of alcohol to anyone. No carry-ins or tailgating allowed.
