ASHWABAY CAFE

Led by Executive Chef Jessica Pergolski and Hospitality Director Liesl Settgas. With thoughtful menu additions, local ingredients, nourishing food, and genuine care, Jessica and Liesl are helping shape a café that reflects the best of this place: welcoming, grounded, generous, and alive in every season.
Enhancing the menu with an emphasis on nourishing, high-quality food, local ingredients and warm atmosphere, the café will serve as a gathering place rooted in community. Come join us in the summer for a night of music under the stars at Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua. In the winter, warm up in the Mt Ashwabay Chalet after a run down the hill or a quiet glide through the Nordic trails. No matter the season, the Ashwabay

The Ashwabay Café reflects what we believe rooted in community can be: simple, nourishing, rooted in place, and full of care. Whether you are joining us for a winter afternoon in the chalet, a summer night under the stars, or a simple stop along the trail, the Ashwabay Café invites you to slow down, settle in, and enjoy this place we share.

While our classic surface lift was replaced in 2008, the old T-Bar lives on in spirit! Our friendly, experienced staff will gladly mix up your favorite cocktail, or pour you a beer. We offer several regional beers on tap, plus a great selection of cans & bottles for you to enjoy with the show. We also serve individual-serving wines, plus special show-themed drinks from time-to-time.

FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICIES

No carry-ins or tailgating: Outside food or beverage on the grounds or the parking lots is strictly prohibited. Thank you for your respect.
Ashwabay works to prevent underage drinking. Please expect to show identification for all purchases of alcoholic beverages. During large or particularly busy shows, you may be asked to wear a wristband to improve the speed of our service.
Please note that all pricing is subject to change without notice, and all products are subject to availability, as many are season-dependent.
