About the Blue Canvas Club
As a nonprofit, Big Top Chautauqua relies on donations to cover more than 30% of our operating costs. Your tax-deductible gift helps to make the arts more accessible, supports workshops and original productions, and brings world class performers to the tent!
By supporting Big Top Chautauqua with an annual gift of $125 or more, you will automatically become a member of our Blue Canvas Club. As a member, you will have the opportunity to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the general public and other exclusive member benefits.
Member Benefits
- As a Blue Canvas Club member, you receive exclusive access to ticket pre-sales for all shows at the tent, usually a week before the general public.
- Members are added to an exclusive e-mail list and receive additional notices regarding special Big Top offers.
- Blue Canvas Club members also receive a 10% discount on original Big Top merchandise at the Big Top venue.
- Benefits last a full year from the date you join.
Becoming a Member
- You can enroll in the Blue Canvas Club by making an annual gift of $125 or more. Donations can be made online by clicking here, in person at the Box Office, or over the phone during regular business hours. Please note, online donations take 2-3 business days to process. For same processing please visit or call the Box Office.
- You can make your qualifying gift with a ticket purchase, but only in person at the Box Office or over the phone.
- If you would like to make an online gift using our donation page located at bigtop.org/support, please be sure to provide a valid email address and allow up to 2 business days for processing (you can avoid the processing time by calling to make your gift over the phone). Once your gift is processed, you will automatically be added to our Blue Canvas Club email distribution list.
Instructions for Current Members
- First, to make sure our emails reach you, add [email protected] as a contact in your email contacts list. Emails from us are less likely to go to your junk/spam mailbox if you do.
- Do not unsubscribe from our emails, or you will also unsubscribe from the presale notifications. You have earned the benefit— make sure you can use it!
- To purchase tickets during the presale, just log in to your account using the same email as your Big Top Chautauqua patron account, and the system will recognize you as a Blue Canvas Club member allowing you to make your ticket purchase as normal.
- Log in to your account before the start of the presale to make sure you have no difficulty, and your account information is up to date. Our Box Office is happy to assist with recovering your account or resetting your password, but please be aware our phone lines get busy once tickets go on sale.
- If you are having trouble logging in to your account, do not create a new account or the system will not recognize your membership status. Instead, click the orange “Reset Password” button. We will send you an email link with instructions. The link will go to the email associated with your Big Top patron account.
- If you have ever donated or purchased a ticket (other than at the gate), you already have a patron account, even if you have never logged in to it before. Do not create another account (see above). If you have never logged in to your Big Top patron account before, click the orange "Forgot Password" button to set it.
