The Chad Mitchell Trio was one of the most popular groups of the 1960s and was also one of the most popular shows at Big Top in 2007. The blend of humor, political satire and stunning harmonies took the folk world by storm in the 60s. Now, on rare occasions, the three original members and their long-time back-up musicians get together for a very special performance. Relive some of their most celebrated folk hits including songs by Tom Paxton, Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan. Johnny Cash cited their version of “Four Strong Winds” as a stylistic influence of the times.
