Covid Safety Guidelines
2023 Safety & Conduct Guideline Updates
Big Top Chautauqua will continue to update our Covid-19 safety protocols based on evolving public health guidelines. Please note, some of our events may require increased health and safety requirements as required by various artists. Please check back for updates prior to your scheduled event(s).
Requirements for Entry
At this time, we anticipate there will not a be a requirement for face coverings, proof of Covid-19 vaccination, or proof of a negative Covid-19 test for event entry. With our season beginning in June, this protocol is subject to change at any time. We encourage you to check back for updates for your specific event prior to visiting the venue. This protocol is subject to change and may change frequently based on artist requirements and public health guidance.
Modified Full Capacity Seating
We have adjusted our covered seating arrangement to allow for spacing of rows front to back. Social distanced spacing between seats will not be implemented this season.
Open Tent Walls
We will have tent walls opened most of the time during an event. The weather can be warm during the day and turn quite cold at night. Please plan for such swings in temperature. In the event of heavy rain, gusty winds or other inclement weather we will lower the tent walls on those occasions.
Print-At-Home Ticket Processing
We encourage printing your tickets at home when purchasing online and through our box office. Tickets will be sent via email.
Enhanced Cleaning
Our team will be cleaning and sanitizing the venue, giving extra attention to high touch areas, before, during and after each event.
Face Coverings Are Encouraged
Big Top Chautauqua encourages the use of face coverings. We will adhere to any public health guidelines, and/or performer masking requirements for each event. Big Top will provide masks upon request; available at the entrance gate, merchandise booth, venue entrance points, and from on-site volunteers and staff.
