Bill Isles "Making a living as a Professional Singer/Songwriter"

Bill returned to performing after a twenty-five year hiatus in February of 2000. Since that time, he has become one of the most highly-respected singer/songwriters in the Minnesota acoustic scene and has begun to get national and international attention. Yes, you can actually make a living being a wandering minstrel, songwriter, recording artist. Here are some tips on getting out there and making yourself heard.

Witness the raising of the curtain with a stellar group of singers, songwriters and musicians. Johnsmith, L.J. Booth, Rad Lorkovic and Dan Sebranek were all part of last year’s Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Showcase - one of our favorite concerts of last summer.

This year local songstress and self-proclaimed “Northwoods Girl” Heidi Howes joins the group, as does everyone’s favorite fiddler Randy Sabien, to open the 4-day Celebration of the Song. An evening with any one of these artists is more than worth the price of admission - but with all on one stage in one night - expect sparks!
